Going to post it again, hopefully to get more responses from all the vocal people
What do you think?
Edit: a much better life than most people
She’s my very close friend, she’s black (for some of you it matters).
She studied at a boarding school somewhere, her parents are insanely rich and her dad is to thank, since he got very rich because of his hard work and education (his parents were very poor and black – at the time, a ‘normal’ situation). She is pretty much guaranteed a job anywhere even if her family loses the money, which believe me, they won’t. She is arrogant as hell, thinks that she should only worry about herself (nothing bad about that). Do you *logically* think it’s fair? Do you *think/wish* that she’ll fail in her life and become poor?
I think that it’s fair. I think that she’ll be extremely successful and gorgeous as she is, she will marry an amazing guy who will cherish her. If you don’t think it’s fair…then what IS fair?
I love my friend, I do think it’s fair and I would never wish any bad things for her. Just like she would never wish any bad things to me, or to anyone. She’s nice with the right people and doesn’t want to take any bs from the ‘poor/low class/poo blacks’ etc., she absolutely despises the excuses about racism and etc.
Additional Details
a) She is one of my best friends, actually. If I didn’t like her, she wouldn’t be.
b) I don’t have a problem with anything she says.
c) She doesn’t need to work hard, she’s got absolutely everything she needs and will ever need. She just wants to follow her passion.
d) We are both pretty much on the same level when it comes to money, I don’t need to expand on that.
e) She is incredibly beautiful and yes, she will have a wonderful husband/boyfriend. I get more attention from men, but I am just not as arrogant about it.
f) She is actually a very nice person, re-read the original post, at the end it states why she’s arrogant and egoistical. Oh and I think it’s a good thing that she’s an egoist, her dad always said that it’s one of the main reasons for why he made it so far.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "FAIR", so get over it and live your life the best you can.

As I get older I seem to be more thankful for life. My one wish in life is to grow old enough to see my kids grow up. As my age starts to climb towards 30 I feel like life is becoming more precious more delicate. I cry inside a little thinking of how much I love life yet I realize it has to come to an end. I haven’t got the best grip on these emotions that I feel.
Do you feel more passion for life as you get older?
Yes…
As I get toward FIFTY, I pray that I can live longer than Dad (58) AND Mom (73).
I want to see grand-babies, watch them grow, see them graduate, and enjoy the circle of life repeat as much as possible.
I just hope I check out before I am feeble and a burden to my loved ones.

Your work? What moves you? motivates you to change, to expand your mind?
Seeing the goodness in others is my passion. There is always ‘hope’ for passion and happiness.
one of my passion is to try at all times to increase my knowledge so as to achieve my goal in life. i also want to have a good rapport wth everyone…so that people always remember me as a caring and compassionate person…so one of my passions is to help anyone when ever possible…
and last but not the least, my favourite one is daydreaming…thats the best stressbuster(atleast for me). you know, ones own fantasy world, where theres only happiness and laughter and love…i love to dream of such a life. and it makes me work hard to reach it…i love it

I have absolutely no clue how to face the future. I have been thinking about this for the majority of my life and it seems that I still cannot find a passion to make my life long career. Worse yet, even if I can think of anything I have no idea how go about obtaining that degree.
Alright so I have a few interests that I could share that you guys could help me expand upon. Renewable energies is the fastest growing industry in America (or so I heard and read) and I think it would be nice to be able to do SOMETHING in that field. I don’t mean solar panel technician or wind turbine repair man… I mean I want to own a company that produces clean energy. Maybe if I am successful enough one day I might become a leading producer of solar (or wind or geothermal, etc.) energy in south-eastern US… who knows.
I have always dreamed of building up my career (whatever it may be.. haha) enough so that I may be able to buy a local store like bi-lo, wal-mart or even a gas station. those are places everyone needs, they’re necessities… so if I own one then I will always have reliable source of income.
But I have no idea where to start, what to learn – I don’t know anything. I feel so insignificant and tiny.
What can I do? Does anyone have experience and can help me find my way?
Also I’m afraid that if I go engineering then I will be stuck inside a cubicle for 30 years… and I also doubt my self discipline, it would be incredibly hard for me. maybe.
One last interest that I have is internet marketing. or something to do with the that. From what I’ve heard, you can make a lot of money if you own your own website and are good at directing traffic to it.
Ok it sounds to me like you want to be an engineer. I’m not exactly sure what engineer you want to be because almost every single kind works together to build a single project. Engineering supposidly is the most difficult undergraduate degree to get threw but if you do the pay is insane in comparison to the other degree’s. Not only that but their is a good chance you will actually get a job useing the knowledge you learned from your degree unlike many of the degree’s out their that are pritty much just plane useless in the real world. If you can decide what you wanna me I suggest aiming for money. I know people say money doesn’t equal happyness but you know what anyone who ever said this has never been poor. So if you can’t pick a career go for accounting which is hiring people left and right. The last thing you want to be is a 40 year old man with a family he can’t support so he sits their and hopes for better days that will never come.
